I need more days like this, just me and the camera. I treated myself to a new lens a couple of months age, I say new it was off eBay!

I've just not found the time to get the best out of it.
So last week I made time and took myself to Weston Park.
its not a true macro lens but I'm pleased with the photos so far, for a budget lens its sharp and most of the following photos where taken at around 4ft way from the subject
All the photos have been cropped down, and just a small amount of sharpening in Lightroom

fantastic images! What sort of camera body do you have? I wish I could take photos so good!
We have canon EOS 450D, but our 70-300 lens is broken and we can't afford to replace it yet.
I'm was going to start following this blog but I see you've moved so I'll go over there and add that to my list instead.
